News from BT on the Broadford Exchange upgrade

Bt released information and reasoning on RFS dates after it scrapped it's preregistration scheme yesterday:
"The RFS date for Broadford has been set as 25th August 2004 because specialist equimpment is needed at Drumfearn Radio Station and Inverness before Broadford exchange can be connected to BT's broadband network. We are continuously re-assessing the situation and will endeavour to bring the date forward if we can."

News from BT on the Kyle upgrade

Bt released information and reasoning on RFS dates after it scrapped it's preregistration scheme yesterday: "The extended RFS date for Kyle has been set as 20th October 2004 because specialist equipment is needed before the exchange can be connected to BT's broadband network. The situation is being continuosly re-assessed and we will keep you updated of progress and do our very best to bring the RFS date forward if we can."

BT scrap pre-registration scheme

This morning BT scrapped the preregistration scheme that has been with us since 2002. It will be replaced by a preordering scheme. Further details can be found on the samknows site - http://www.samknows.com/broadband/

Portree gets RFS date

Today BT announced a RFS date for Portree. A provisional RFS date of 21/09/2005 has been set for this exchange.
